Welcome

I am a printmaker creating original, handmade, limited edition relief, intaglio & lithographic prints.

My studio is situated in Llanwrtyd Wells, which sits amidst the beauty of mid-Wales.

Llanwrtyd is home to the quirky sports of Bog Snorkelling and the 'Man v Horse' Marathon as well as the bi-annual World Alternative Games.

The beautiful scenery of Wales, seemingly timeless yet ever-changing, is a major source of inspiration for my work - as is my love of mid-20th Century graphic art. I also suspect that Llanwrtyd's eccentric side plays its part!

I am teaching a short introduction to polyester plate lithography on Saturday 7th February at Aberystwyth Printmakersk studio.

GLO | COAL @ Galeri Caernarfon until 14th April

Twenty two works on the subject of coal - some of them printed using inks I have made out of Welsh coal. This collection of work arose as a result of my participation in Swansea Print Workshop’s collaborative project with Swansea University to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the South Wales Miners’ Library.

I will be travelling up to Dunoon in the spring to join 11 other printmakers from the Parallel Printmakers Collective for a week of printmaking at Uig Hall.
